Targeted Participants: Primary and secondary school Principals.
Background
When we think of a school as a ship on sail, principals would be thought as the ship captain who had to make sure that everything on board had to function effectively so that the ship and all the crew would reach their destination. Based on this statement, principals’ role to ensure the achievement of teaching and learning process is vital. For example, if school is expected to improve students’ learning results, principal is expected to stand in front leading and managing this improvement process.
Principal is also expected to be a skilled educator who is able to emphasise their role in teaching and learning, and sustaining school quality. To answer to that challenge, SF TI invites all principals to take part in Leadership for Principal 3 – How to Improve School Performance workshop. Here, we will explore the duty and role of principals especially in school improvement and change management together.
