Welcome to the Sampoerna Foundation Teacher Institute (SF TI) website.

Central to the purpose of the SF Teacher Institute is to strive to improve the learning outcomes of young Indonesians and consequently in time the quality of human resources and the quality of life for the citizens of Indonesia. If we are to achieve our goal we must focus upon the most important resource in school classrooms; the teacher. Working closely with the education authorities, school foundations and individual schools we seek to provide in-service and pre-service programmes that meet the learning needs of teachers and principals. A team of committed trainers, lecturers and support staff as well as part time trainers from local institutions and visiting experts from abroad are employed. They deliver programmes that focus upon developing teachers’ knowledge and skills as well as emerging issues in education. Please explore our website, to decide how we can best meet your needs.
