Course Description

This module seeks to help participants acquire and apply basic knowledge and skills in relation to creating conducive learning environments, managing and facilitating teaching and learning activities, and school/classroom discipline. The importance of the practice of proactive classroom management and positive teacher-student relationship will also be emphasized. In addition, this module strives to look at the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of motivation, and examines ‘how’ we can move students from external motivation to nurturing in them a passion for learning by the use of diversified approaches to learning such as multiple intelligences and problem-based learning.
