On Tuesday 3 March 2009, Sampoerna Foundation will launch the Putera Sampoerna School of Education. Hosted at the Sampoerna Foundation Teacher Institute facility in Sampoerna Foundation office in Jakarta, the event will share important highlights on this new initiative and will also serve as a moment to explore potential donor partnership.

Several prominent speakers are expected to share their thoughts on education. They include Kenneth J. Cock (Director of Sampoerna Foundation Teacher Institute), Ron Perkinson (President of Sampoerna Foundation), Prof. S. Gopinathan (the school’s resource person that happen to be the Assistant Dean, Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice NIE, Nanyang Technology University of Singapore), and Dr Fasli Djalal Phd* (Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education).
