SF TI Adopting Teachers for Professional Development Print E-mail

img 166SF TI Adopting Teachers for Professional Development is a program of the SF Teacher Institute geared toward improving education in Indonesia. It is essentially a 30-hour training program in which teachers can develop their knowledge and skills. Participating in the program are teachers from the elementary and secondary levels. To establish the program, SF Teacher Institute worked alongside Education Offices in Tangerang, Depok and Bekasi to offer 87 teachers of the aforementioned levels to attend the program at no cost to participants.

Report of Foundation Program 1000 Teacher Training Collaboration between SFTI and Dikdas DKI Jakarta Print E-mail

sftipelatihan1000guruTo help improve the skills of local teachers in elementary and junior high schools in DKI Jakarta SF Teacher Institute initiated a collaborative programme with Depdiknas and local education agencies. The program focused on classroom management and student assessment. 1000 teachers participated in the one day course conducted in groups of 25. The programme took place on Tuesday and Thursday each week from April to June 2007.

SFTI-ECU Australia Collaborate to Improve the Professionalism of Teachers in Indonesia Print E-mail

sftiasiapasifikSampoerna Foundation Teacher Institute (SF TI) together with Edith Cowan University (ECU) Australia plans to set up the Asia Pacific Center of Excellence for Teacher Education and Innovation in Indonesia. The Memorandum of Understanding will be signed by Mr. Elan Merdy, Chief Operating Officer Sampoerna Foundation and Prof. Greg Robson, Head of School of Education, Faculty of Education and Arts ECU in SF TI campus, Jakarta (17/04).
